Visiting Our Dracut Chiropractic Practice

Your First Visit
Your first visit at our office will begin with a short office tour. We have some equipment which might look strange to you at first and some make a noise when in use. We want you to feel comfortable with what will be going on around you.
You will then be taken to an exam room where a complete history will be taken and a chiropractic exam will be done. You will be tested for how far you can tilt, rotate and bend your neck and low back. This is all done to your ability and never beyond. We then measure your grip strength and your overall body balance.
At this point we do one of the most helpful, high tech tests available today and that is a computer scan of your nervous system. Your body runs better with good nerves than crushed nerves and this scan shows clearly what is working and what is not. You remain seated and two different types of detectors are moved up your spine. It is here we can see where your nervous system is running at optimal levels and where it is not.
Because our nervous system controls every function in our body, this is a very significant test. If abnormal signals are seen on the computer scan, x-rays would likely be taken.
Shortly after x-rays, you would receive your first chiropractic adjustment. This entire process generally takes just over one hour and is designed to allow you to explain fully what your goals and objectives are in coming to our office. If you have copies of any reports or x-rays which are current, you should bring them with you for our review.
Because of the equipment we use, your chiropractic adjustment is very gentle. We explain exactly what we will be doing in your case with you before we do anything so you will know what to expect. We want you to understand and be comfortable with our care.
Your Second Visit
The second visit takes less than 10 minutes door to door. Once the doctor knows exactly what needs to be done, the actual procedure to correct the problem is not time consuming. You simply check in, get adjusted and stop at the desk before you leave.
Usually during the first week of starting care, you will be invited to attend a short presentation and report of findings. These presentations are held every Monday evening at 7:00pm and every other Saturday morning at 10:30am.
If you cannot make either of these times, special arrangements will be made to go over our findings with you. These presentations last about one hour and give you the opportunity for you and your significant other or friend to see your x-rays and get answers to any of your health concerns. It is at this presentation that you will also be shown how to use some of the advanced equipment we make available to you which greatly speed up your progress.
Regular Visits
Each visit after the first and second only take about 10 minutes.
